3. Small Miracles Through a Harsh Summer
This summer tested us.
The heat climbed into the forties here in the high country. The rain disappeared. The land faded. For a while, so did my spirit.
After a health scare that forced me to reflect on mortality and what truly matters, I found myself choosing life more deliberately — choosing presence, boundaries, family, and a quieter existence offline.
Amid drought and uncertainty, small miracles appeared.
A tree we thought was dead began to grow again.
Our first lemon formed on the branch.
Rain finally returned.
Nature continues to remind me that rest is not the end. Resilience lives quietly beneath the surface. Even in harsh seasons, life is still working.
This episode is about small miracles, sacred ordinary moments, and the permission to live at nature’s pace.
