5. The World is Still a Beautiful Place| Life Through the Seasons
In this seasonal episode, summer fades into autumn and winter here in the Australian wilderness. The last zinnias bloom, a blue-banded bee naps among the flowers, frost settles over the birdbath, and finally — after months of dryness — the rain returns.
I share quiet days in the garden preparing for the colder months, growing food more mindfully, harvesting my first ginger crop, and reflecting on the wonder of seeds, wildlife, changing seasons, and the beauty that still exists in the world around us.
There are rosellas on frozen water, kangaroos returning after rain, misty mornings, conversations about protecting wildlife, and thoughts on slowing down and letting life unfold more naturally.
I also share a little update about my debut novel Kookaburra, releasing September 9.
Thank you for spending this time with me among the seasons, wildlife, and changing skies.
Go gently out there. The world is still a beautiful place.
